The Opportunity

We're seeking a reliable and structured Drone Show Pilot to join our UAE-based flight operations team, delivering shows across the Middle East and European Union and occasionally other parts of the world.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of every show. You'll prepare, set up, and fly our drone fleets, working alongside experienced crews and following the procedures that keep every performance safe and on time.

Drone shows happen when audiences gather, so the job regularly involves evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, along with frequent travel, sometimes at short notice.

We're looking for someone who loves flying, takes pride in doing things properly, and enjoys the energy of live events in new places.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and fly drone shows, including site preparation, drone layout, rehearsals, and live performances.
• Follow Cyberdrone's SOPs, checklists, and safety procedures on every show, without shortcuts.
• Carry out pre-flight and post-flight inspections, routine maintenance, battery management, and basic troubleshooting.
• Keep flight logs, maintenance records, and show reports accurate and up to date.
• Support the operations team with local flight permits and site requirements in each country.
• Prepare, pack, ship, and unpack equipment, and help with warehouse and maintenance tasks.
• Work closely with international crews, clients, and event partners on site.
• Share feedback from the field to help improve our procedures and equipment.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Proven hands-on drone flying experience, in FPV and/or multi-drone (swarm) operations.
• A reliable, structured, and methodical way of working: you follow checklists and procedures every time.
• A solid understanding of flight safety and the basic aviation rules that apply to drone operations.
• Technical aptitude for troubleshooting hardware, batteries, radio links, and software.
• Willingness to travel frequently, often for several days or weeks at a time and sometimes at short notice.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• A valid passport and the ability to travel easily to destinations across the EU, Latin America, Africa, and beyond.
• Comfort working outdoors, handling physical setup tasks, and performing in varied weather conditions.
• Good communication skills in English.

Highly Desirable

• Experience operating drone light shows.
• A recognized drone pilot certification (for example UAE GCAA, EASA, or FAA Part 107).
• A background in aviation, electronics, engineering, or live event production.
• Additional languages such as Arabic, German, Spanish, Italian, or French.
• A valid driving licence.
